Our team of Pack Experts will start to compile all the documents that are legally required. On day one all your searches will have been ordered and soon the legally-required documents will be ready for your pack.
In parallel to this, an accredited Domestic Energy Assessor will have been instructed to provide the mandatory EPC (Energy Performance Certificate). An appointment will be made with the assessor who will visit your property, this can normally be carried out within forty-eight hours.
Depending on how large your home is, the assessment normally takes between forty-five minutes to an hour. After which the assessor will return to base to complete his or her report. The energy performance certificate that is produced by the assessor is included in your Home Information Pack.
As soon as the Home Information Pack is ready we will deliver it to you and to your estate agent as a pdf electronic copy by email or on a disk - whatever you prefer.
A paper hard copy (around 60 A4 pages) in a plastic presentation HIP folder is also available if required.
